Best day ever

What a day we had today fishing with Jimb, Roy and myself. We got there just as day light was breaking and headed out. About 15 minutes later we hit a big school of fish and it was on. Jim and I wanted to play around with Roy's 997. I have just baught a 998 that I have not hooked up yet and wanted to learn some thinks, but something went wrong and the unit would not run. Roy found out later that it was a battery problem.

We casted jigs for 5.5 hours and caught around 400 real nice crappie. Most fish were between 12.5" and 13.5", with 2 citations at 15.50" and 15". Roy caught the biggest and Jim the second biggest.


I caught a beautiful 5.5lb bass. We all had fish on at the same time at least 15 times. This was my best day ever and to catch them all casting made it even better. We found the fish in 12' to 15' mostly all on the bottom.
