Three days good...

Did good fishing a few hours in the mornings the last three mornings. Capped it with 15 caught today. Yay. These were from a clear water area of the lake and the fish are gorgeous. All released so I can catch'em again.

I'm still doing what I usually do, longlining double rigs dipped in slabsauce fishing in about 5-7 ft of water trolling .9-1mph. Using Pico Bunny Butts (1/16) with Skippers Mylar Jigs (1/32).

Absolutely gorgeous colors. Love'em.



At first I could see them on the live scope but they would not bite. Once I dipped the jigs into the Slabsauce, they would follow through and hit. Love that Slabsauce, it should be called "Make'em Bite Sauce".







Water clarity makes all the difference in the color of the fish. Below is a crappie caught the day before, on the same lake, but in another area where the water is not so clear. Still dark on top, but no where near the coloration of the ones above taken out of clear but stained waters).
