• Been catching slabs at bull shoals.

Over the past couple months I have been fishing bull shoals lake. Normally I fish pomme de Terre And catch my limit most times but no real big ones. Down at bull shoals it's been a slab fest every trip. A year ago you couldn't have paid me 100.00 to fish on bull shoals. I hated that place. But with a few tweaks on my garmin and giving the lake another try I've figured I out a few spots and haven't been back to pomme since. I will mention I don' not have live scope I have a garmin 93uhd sv with echomap. So I have side imaging down imaging or clear vue and 2d. With the results I've had I just can't really justify the 1400.00 on the live scope transducer. I do have a spot lock trolling motor which I highly suggest. I've been catching these crappie on monkey milk crappie tubes with a chartreuse head and electric chicken bobby garland slab slayers along with orange and chartreuse slab slayers. These colors have worked the best for me.
