    ....to get out the ice fishing gear. Checked some northern Ionia/southern Montcalm County lakes and found fishable ice on several. After Monday and Tuesday below zero weather we should be good to go on most lakes. Planning a trip on Thursday, not sure where yet. vbottom will be tagging along so I know we'll catch something. He's lucky like that. Stay tuned for the report.

      In my younger days we had plently of ice fishable waters but for some reason people just didn't do it. Including me.

      I've done plenty of ice fishing, I miss it, haven't been in several years.
