    Well, staying at BigJohn's for 1 night before heading to Darbonne for the gathering for the weekend and he lives 5 miles from Claiborne so had to give it a shot! Beautiful lake, TOUGH to fish! Fished every water from 2 foot to 28 foot, vertical jigging, casting ultralights and longlineing jigs, caught ONE BREAM! Beautiful pumpinkseed bream though!

      its often tough to get crappie to cooperate on unfamiliar lakes .
      a few times new lakes have given us fits back when we roamed a bit .
      a day on the water is still a good thing even if the fish wont get on board .
