    I really only usually get to fish on Sunday mornings. Two Sunday's ago I was sidelined due to a boat issue. Last Sunday my buddy and I tried a new pond and struck out on Crappie. This week we decided we needed to get on some fish and went to one of our favorite spots.

    Showed up around sunrise and headed up the pond. Got on the fish right away even though they had moved back out and left their beds. Had to contend with the wind a little bit but overall not too bad. Moved around the pond and checked a few spots we like and all places produced fish. A good mixture of sizes were caught in all places. Threw back anything smaller than 12 inches today. We decided since the spawn was in post spawn mode we could keep a few more than we have been. Caught around 50 Crappie today with a few small Bass, White Perch, and Pumpkinseed Sunfish added to it. Beautiful morning on the water.

      nice fish . my fishing has been slow lately due to a lot of rain and health issues .hoping things will get better .
