Its been a very long wait but it has happened. We put 125 in the boat yesterday and released them all. Today we added another 40 as we moved around a lot exploring. Largest was 16 inches and many 14-15 inch class. Along with some nice bass and white perch.
I've caught tens of thousands of crappie in all my years of chasing these panfish. I've caught them out west to Mississippi, south into Florida, north into Illinois and everywhere in between with the majority right here in South Carolina. But I've never seen them as pretty as the ones you post every year from Maine. Are you fishing a private or public lake? If public, would you share it's name? I would like to put a trip to Maine on my bucket list.
