Thanks to Wannabe over in MS, Gracie has knocked Mississippi off of here list of states she has killed a deer in. This makes number 4 (Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Mississippi) and we tried to get Georgia out of the way earlier with no luck. Anyway, she was able to connect on this doe the morning of 1-13-18, her first MS deer and her first deer in the snow. She said tracking in the snow was easy! Hope to knock a couple more states off the list next season, just gotta figure out where we are going. Thanks again to Wannabe and his family for allowing her the opportunity and being such courteous people. We both enjoyed our trip both in and out of the woods!
Oh yeah, did I mention how cold it was...? BRRRRRRRRRR.........

I may hit you up a little more on the youth hunt information. The problem I have found is the dates. Even though they are on the weekend we pretty much need a day on both sides (at least one) for travel. This tends to interfere with school and she actually does not like missing school. I have found that the youth hunt in Illinois falls on the weekend they are out for Fall break so we may try that this next season/
