On the water just after first light, I had 4 shorts and a keeper to the boat in less than 10 minutes. With the new line I could feel a lot more than mono ever did and several short bites were caught fish. Not all were big, some were downright little, but the clicker kept getting pushed. One of those was about a 3 to 3 1/2lb catfish and I wondered if I was going to get my jig back. 1/48 Roadrunner and a #6 hook never got lost though. Had no company and the boat traffic was was heavier, so I put it on the trailer about 10:30. The bite was all done at 9:30. Used 2 light rods with different colors and the second rod had Power pro super slick, no comparison. The Nanofil is something you have to try. I will be adding a 4lb clear leader to help slow the fall.
The big fish was about a pound and a quarter and several others were up to getting the invitation, but all 29 on the clicker still swim. The one pic is of the beauty queen of the day, and the other was just so small and cute I had to make him famous. Thanks for the read.....Skeet.
