• Good day on the water.

    Any day on the water is a good day, but today was extra special. I was able to fish with good friends.

    Friends from IL came down, and we had a geezer Monday with Shu, Flycaster and Speckanator (aka Baconator) on Griffin.



    It was a beautiful morning.



    We raced out to see what shu was catching in the pads.



    William felt the thump.



    Sophia caught one. Well kinda. We used a Speckanator supplied decoy fish to let Sophia feel what these fighters are like.



    But Sophia did catch one on her own, a nice 11 incher even before I could get the trolling motor out. But we decided we were done at that point cause the wind really started to kick up.



    We seen Flycaster fly by. We seen the Shumeister fishing outside of the pads. Actually mooched a few minners from him. Also seen the cigar king, aka Speckanator, aka Baconator. Great day with friends.
