• Great Couple Outings on the Ice

This was the season I vowed to leave live bait behind and learn to fish plastics. It was tough at times, but I am learning the methods. Love catching Crappie through the ice.

Looks good. I've never used those type lead heads or grubs before, but it's obviously working for you. My favorite plastic jig is the Crappie Magnet on a 1/16 or 3/32 oz lead head. Color preferences are Dude Special, Midnight Blue, Tennessee Shad, Bison, and Bulldog. Good luck to you. GTT

What is really the best part of ice fishing is the eating . The fish are firm and do not have time to spoil , freezing while laying in the bucket, best tasting fish you will ever eat!

Those look good. I'd have to have a shanty and all the junk to pull it and so on.
