We did not know what to expect because none of us ever scalloped before. But after all was said and done, we had a riot. It was so cool to snorkel in the sea grass looking around at all the cool things we seen, coral, fish, turtles, rays.
And we finally even found scallops. Took a bit to figure out what we were looking for, took a bit to find fertile waters which had lots. I even had a couple two-fors. Dove down and picked up two at once.

    Off in the morning.

Dino led the way on the Yabba Dabba Too!

Wifey in the background in the water. Jessica in front squinting.

The grasses were so cool to swim over the top of. Miles and miles of it.

    Seen lots of Starfish.

    Staghorn Coral, I think!

    Who dat?

We ended up with 6 gallons, and had them shucked shoreside. Ended up with about 4 cups of scallops. Did not seem worth it, seems like there should be more meat off them, but it's not the meat that makes the day. It's the snorkelling that's the fun part.

It was really neat watching the Dolphins in front of the boat on the ride home. I mean they were so close you could feel their tail fins hitting the bottom of the boat. Check out the video:

Remember, before you make fun of me for missing that one scallop, I'm snorkelling and diving down with one hand all while recording with the other hand! lol
