Went out yesterday, 2/17. Was a fairly good day, but I can tell you the fish are all being caught near the Dewitt Bridge. The water temp was around 54.7 Degrees which dropped a little from previous weeks which was expected due to the cold weather and snow in the last week or so. Crappie was not great, but not bad either. Kind of a day I just had to grind them out. Bright colors are producing the best fish. I was using brushpile jigs brushhammers in pink and chartreuse and chartreuse and gold to add a little flare and those two seemed to get the most bites. Stay shallow as the fish are near the bridges, had the most luck retreiving but caught a few on slip bobbers fishing about 12" to 14". Here's a pic of the catches for the day.

Stay near the warmer water. The marina, Y-cove, houseboat were NOT producing fish. Caught a few but all very little. Also heard the Walleyes were biting over there. Be prepared to grind them out. I was fishing from 6:00 am till about 4:00 pm.
