On my trek South this Fall I stopped at a couple Crappie Camps, including the one at Lake Talquin, Florida. Where I wish I was right now. Right now I'm buried in over 2 feet of snow. I drove back up to Illinois two days ago to pick up all my stuff, never to return to the snow belt. Low and behold, Mother Nature had to throw one more snow storm into my life. One last jab in the side. A true test of my "bad back". I had to shovel my driveway and my moms, and I still have to move about a million boxes into the trailer. Dang I wish I was back in Florida right now. But back to my post, here are some pics I took at the Talquin event about four weeks ago.

One guess who won, and the first guess don't count!

Had a great time. Lots of great food and great prizes. Prizes from some of our sponsors including BnM Poles, Bobby Garland, and Charlie Brewer Sliders. DANG I can't wait to get back to Florida.

Great Fellowship !.... Ed, now that you've made the commitment to Florida, You'll get the last laugh, trust me...from the deep freeze...the Heat Miser, however, just make sure the AC is in good working order....

As a matter a fact, it's brand new. As is the Furnace up here in Illinois. How appropriate eh!
