For the last 2 weeks I have been down with a cold and the weather has been less than good. Today I felt better and we got a good forcast. I went back to the place I have fished since the first of April. Lots of slabs waited in the trees for me to free them. I did just that. We reeled in and released 126. All we nice and most from 13-15. I was a welcome surprise to still find them this late. Good to be back.
Thanks for all those nice words. I am blessed to be in a place that has such fine fish. I have spent many years way to much time and money in my search for these fish. I was out this week and again got into some 14-16 slabs. I lost my camera so no pics. Its hard to believe that just a few years ago when I got a 13-14 I was on top of the world. Now I mostly target the bigger ones. What is strange is that me and a couple friends have all to ourselves. We still release about all of them. Maybe that is a help in keeping the bigger ones around longer. Again thanks for those kind remarks.
Bee, sorry you've been under the weather. You know you are a Blessed man to be able to fish in such a Blessed place. We miss your pictures that we dream on.
