Wow, most folks have never caught a 1 Lb. Bluegill. They think they have, but they haven't.
SeaRay, you're absolutely right - most people call a nine-ounce bluegill a pounder. I fished for years for bluegill before I caught my first one. Then I got into pond management...I've caught a few since that time.
Double hand full for sure. Monster fish.
Nice bull gills. I think it is hard to beat the colors of a mature gill.
