Hard to leave Nimrod alone

I know it is starting up in other places, but it's sure hard not to head north to Nimrod to drag those ole cranks around. My big brother and I headed out at daylight and had it all done by about 11:00. Lots of shad and lots of crappie under them. I read on the board that they will start putting out nets Oct. 1. That will put a stop to my trolling, have to start jigging I guess. They'll be biting other places by then any way. If you like to troll cranks Nimrod is tuff to beat right now. The last pic is the view from my back porch, and me winding down after a hard day fishing!
