    No, not a crappie. Biggest one I've ever seen. He hit a rubber frog twice and then I hooked him on a worm. Amazing what we catch sometimes. Oh, we caught some other fish too.

      Thats how I catch them on the ponds most times. Long rod, rubber worm, and bass hook. They get agitated at it in front of them and will usually nail it.
