Sunday Surprise on Lake Erling

Went to see the grandkids and celebrate Mattie Rose' first birthday over the weekend. Got up at 5am Saturday and it was pouring and didn't stop till 11am by then the party preparations were underway and I couldn't go fishing.

So I got up early Sunday morning before church and hit lake Erling at daylight with the crank baits. Once I figured our how deep they were and adjusted all poles it was on, had a few double hookups. Black and Bubblegum as always was the bait of choice, caught some on pink, orange, and Tennessee Shad but Black and Bubblegum just beats them. If I could only have one color it's hands down B&B.

I kept 21 but caught way over my limit just didn't keep many small ones. Here's a couple of pictures, the tail gate pic wasn't all of them but some good ones.
