Do it outside unless you want mamma really upset with you! Now, my wife makes a soft dog treat that has chicken livers, whole wheat flour, garlic and salmon oil. Chicken livers go in food processor, garlic powder is added and all is pureed together, she adds the lour and salmon oil to get a paste which is spread on waxed paper and baked in 250-275 oven until firm. They are refidgerated or frozen. I've put 4-5 on a treble hook and done well with catfish and carp but have often thought you could add some gelatin and make a paste bait and use with a bait bag.
