Beginners luck?

Usually I fish local lakes here in MN and catch crappie, sunnys, bass and occasional walleye. Was talked into trying fishing the river by a co-worker. First time got a sheephead and a little channel cat. Tried the river every weekend for a month or so. lots of channel cats, 1 walleye, and 3 flathead sturgeon!

Ready to call it quits one eve I casted 1 last time and got this guy (poor pic, it got dark while I was reeling him in.)

Nice fish! I always say I'd rather be lucky then good....LOL!
Just remember you can beat good but you can't beat lucky!
