On the same lake baiting can have a much greater effect or a lesser effect depend on part of lake you place you bait.Years ago i use to bait on the southern most end of Toledo bend with just hit and miss result.A friend of mine who had a camp a little father up the lake from me use to rack up late summer and early fall.
