well, the trip to cc was a blast, and the skipjack were very cooperative. as a group we loaded 10 coolers full with some huge, 2-3 lb skips. caught one small white bass and one small channel cat. the stripers were not biting, crap.
we caught most of our skips on sabiki rigs and pink twister tails. for whatever reason, I couldn't buy a bite when I had braid on. once I respooled with 10lb mono, it was on.
then we went over to cheatham dam to look for sauger, but it seemed we missed that bite by a few days.
Pete, where did ya say you were located? I asked around a lil, but no one could help me. I,m gonna look ya up when I come down later this summer.
