Thread: Flathead catfish

I've never caught a flathead catfish on a hook but think I have hooked some. Can anyone tell me how they feel on the end of a line. What I'm asking is, can you tell the difference in the pull like you can when you have hooked a bream versus a crappie?

Usually hug the bottom , real sluggers and shake their heads slowly sometimes. Only fer sure way to tell is to land one .
