I will be going to Nickajack kayak fishing in a few days. What are the catfish doing right now? I would like to stay in the area from shell mound boat ramp to bennett lake boat ramp. I will be staying within 3 miles from whichever ramp I launch from. I know there are a few ramps in the area. I am not familiar with the lake structure and patterns. I do have a humminbird on the yak, just would like to know where my best chances of catching some catfish and any tips that would help. Kinda hard to zip around the lake as in a bass boat, so I am somewhat limited on distance and dont want to waste a lot of time paddling unproductive area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
