    They don't usually take the time to get the bait in their gullet before they put pressure on and then they've already been hooked.

    They just grab it and go.

    I don't do it a lot but the fish that I have gut hooked on a jug or limbline with standard hooks have been few and far between.

    I use circle hooks for all my cat poles !

    I use circle hooks on ALL noodles and rods. If you really want to see the diference use equal amount of both tipes on your (jug,noodles) rigs. It only took me 1 trip with a friend that was useing circle hks to change mine!

    I agree with chicken, One good trip and my tacklebox was loaded with a good selection. they give me time to put down my beer anf not miss the bite.
