    I hope this is not too late for you. If you are going to Perris for crappies, I think it worth to pay xtra fee to fish in Marina. Or next time try Lake Henshaw close to Pala casino. Rent a boat and drift all the way. You can stop by (I think ECB tackle store?) for minnow. Lake henshaw allow using live bait there.
