Thread: Cachuma

Took a trip to CA to visit family. Took half day Friday, Apr 6 to fish and ended up with some nice crappies. Here is one. Nice lake, clean, lot of structure. Water was low so difficult to find cover. Most taken on Big Bite Baits 1 1/2" Pan Fish Minnow, "June Bug" and BnM 10' Sams Super Sensitive jigging pole. It was a good day.

I've had some limited success at Cachuma fishing from shore. I'd like to get on the water there with my boat but the last time I tried I was turned away because of a little moisture that was picked up when it rained a bit on the way there. It was just an excuse to try and up their rentals. To hell with that lake.
