Thread: Lake Henshaw

Perris is supposed to have a crappie bite right now. Try around the beresconi beach but definitely bring cricket and wax worms for gills and redear.

I fished Henshaw a couple of months and ended up fishing for (and catching) some bass instead. There were a lot of grasshoppers around and in the lake this summer, so I am guessing that the fish had plenty to eat and weren't too interested in crappie jigs this year. Back in the mid 90s I used to catch crappie that were all around a foot long all day out there.
