A Bimini is both a blessing and a curse. It's worth its weight in gold when the sun is beating down or it's raining. Besides those times, it'll always be in the way in some form or fashion. They make poles to keep them up and "kinda" out of the way which I suggest is a good investment. I've had several boats with bimini's and wouldn't be without one but you need to carefully plan on the optimum installation for it to be out of the way as much as possible when stored. Also, bigger is better when it comes to a bimini as you'll want as much shade or cover as possible once you decide to deploy it for its benefits.

I would totaly agree with this, the curse part for me is why i dont ever use the biminni i have.
I would explore the use of beach umbrellas instead of a biminni as nothing is ever in the way.
Just be sure to tie them down.
