Do not wire directly to battery. You need the ability to disconnect in a hurry. Doesn’t happen often with newer motors but I have seen them lose gps signal and start spinning. You need to be able to disconnect in a hurry. Use a 50/60 amp resetable circuit breaker at battery with a 6 inch piece of wire at least as big as the wire running to the front.
