HELP!!!!!!
I've searched all the way to the very end of the internet, then called a Ranger dealer..... (and the dealer says "just snug 'em up! That's the way we've done 'em since 19 and 68!")
I can't find ANYWHERE the correct torque on the transom mounting bolts (actually the nuts) for a '17 Yamaha 115 to the back of a '17 Ranger 188C!
I'm not taking the engine off, I'm only loosening the two left side nuts to install a bracket. I've got an All Aboard ladder that I want to mount, and it utilizes those two positions.
Can anybody point me to the answer? I wouldn't be so anxious about it if the transom weren't aluminum... (don't want to crush it, yet it needs to be "tight enough.")
Much thanks
