Just to be the "devil's advocate" in this .... I wouldn't count out Hi-Tek rod holders
I've used rod holders similar in design to the Spyderlocks, and didn't care for the prongs sticking up because they poked my wrists or hung in my sleeve at times. I don't have that problem with the Hi-Teks. I even eliminated the need for adjustment tools, by purchasing some large hard rubber knobs to replace the adjustment bolts in the top of the T bar & all of the rod holders. Once I tighten down the setup into the floor mount with a socket wrench, all other adjustments can easily be done by hand.
I purchased my two sets of 4rod Hi-Tek holders from a member, on the Personal Classifieds forum. Then purchased two extra sets of floor mounts from Scott, off his website : Home The knobs were purchased from McMaster-Carr ( McMaster-Carr )
Keep your eye on the Personal Classifieds, and you may catch a good deal from a member (like I did) ... whether they're Titelocks, Spyderlocks, Cumberland 360's, Hi-Teks, Bee Ready's, or whatever.
