I have the 3/4" non-threaded pin posts for my pedestals. One pedestal needs replacing. My question is the difference between the 3004-R (non-threaded) and the 3004-R-T (threaded)? I'm assuming they are referencing the 3/4" pin. Could you use the threaded pin style in place of the non-threaded, or is there a length difference in the pins or something? Thx.

Unapplied biblical truth is like unapplied paint...how many gallons do you have sittin' around? U.D.
On my old boat I used one of the threaded ones in non threaded bases. They are a little longer on the threaded part but smaller than bushing where it is threaded. Just above the threads it is same 3/4 pin.
