Jig head colors

Jig heads for plastics? If i use 100 jigs this year, 98 will be unpainted. Plastic is what they are looking at

Jig head with minners are different, i like pink or chartreuse in dirty water and white with red eye in clearer water.

I've just started using fingernail polish to paint plain jig heads but not sure why. I've got a lot of fish on plain heads. As far as plastic goes, actually doesn't seem to matter a lot to me. I have an idea what they see is movement of a small object and hit it.
