Jig heads for plastics? If i use 100 jigs this year, 98 will be unpainted. Plastic is what they are looking at
Painted jigs are a distraction from the main lure whether soft plastic, fir, feather, etc. Color theory falls short when fish are caught using many colors on the same outing and catching a bunch. Wed. I caught 110 fish using many colors and many soft plastic lures - all on unpainted jigs. (for photos see the post, what makes fish bite.)
