Me thinks he wants to be a tournament angler & have sponsors & discounts to offset his costs for participating. His "portfolio" (or resume, as it were) would consist of prior tournament wins, any current sponsors he may have, loyalty towards a product or brand, and any recognition he's received from other Pro's, brands, or tournament series sponsors.
