Question : Chartreuse color

An old timer once told me " use any color, as long as its chartreuse " ... I live in the Midwest and black & chartreuse is usually the color I start with; in all conditions. They say dark (muddy) water dark lure.

Based on the advice from you guys and gals (also reading through other threads) I have bought tube jigs in the colors listed below.

For muddy water

black/chartreuse
red/chartreuse
white/chartreuse
chartreuse/chartreuse
black/blue
black/black (marabou jig)

For aqua blue water

light green/chartreuse
orange/chartreuse
chartreuse/chartreuse
green/white
white/white (marabou jig)
blue/white

Please correct me if I am wrong.
