I hear ya, you can never be too careful when it comes to fish consumption advisories. We have a lot of them here in Alabama. Howd you cook it?

I think you're doing great! Set yourself up, took it upon yourself to get out there, caught and filleted your first fish and cooked it as well; good job!

You might post on the VA board and see if anyone in your area extends an invite to help you expand your knowledge and give you a broader exposure to the possibilities.

Great job cleaning your fish. My first attempt was years ago and much worse....keep it up and FISH ON
