Rod help???

As others mentioned, that rod will work for you. I have an inexpensive Shakespeare spinning combo that works great when fishing with a bobber.

Ugly sticks that I have used (medium) always seem to be on light/limber side..So that should be a +..And there as tuff as advertised...If not in your case lighten up on hookset.Which should be almost none anyway..or you just get LIPS RIPS
