    Default Horseshoe????

Me and a couple of my buddies are planning on going down to Horseshoe saturday morning and i was wondering if anyone knew how and what the crappie are biting down there. Kind of a long drive down there for us and we really want to catch some fish. If you could help it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    John

A friend of mine caught 18 slabs down there last week fishing jigs by the piers. He goes during the week, though. Bet the weekends are pretty hectic! My best time to crappie fish 'Shoe is in the winter, from Thanksgiving to New Years. The crappie are schooled up by the piers then and the skiers are gone.
