Fishing was tough today. Caught 3 this morning before all the water lice got out there. After that you could walk across the lake on the boats and not get your feet wet.

All smallmouth streams loaded also! Went to Big Piney,White & Kingrivers And Crooked Creek! Caught 1 raindbow, 2 smallies and a Rock Bass. Had a blast and saw lots of people!
Was that a bite? Forgot what they feel like!

I fish the lower end of Greers around Tumbling Shoals mostly for bass. I"ve caught a few crappie in little peter creek but not very many. Mainly casting jigs and road runners. Do you ever fish the lower part of the lake for crappie?

Petercreek if you were asking me about the lower end of Greers I have not fished that end of the lake in about 10 years. But welcome to the forum.

It's been years like nearly 30 since I've fished Peter Creek, but I have a friend from Heber who does very well there.

I love fishing Peter Creek. While I have not fished it much for crappie, I do fish it quite a bit when the white's are spawing up in the creek. Next Winter I plan on doing more Walleye fishing over that way as well. Good luck to you. When my back heals up I'll see ya out there.

My lips are sealed. Do you happen to know where a place on the lake called "the rock pile" is located? I have heard some talk about it being a good place to catch smallmouth and walleyes.
