That should save some folks a trip or two. For that little shallow-water lake to be up 13 feet is amazing...and unfortunate for us crappie fishermen...all due to natural flooding.
Too bad messes up the spawn for us fishermen.

update
Today (5/16) lake level is 273.88 they got 6 gates open at 3 feet and 7 gates open at 4 feet for a discharg of 3800 cfs. If rains hold off maybe i can get my parants yard clean up from the storm 3 three blowen over 6 tops blow out of. my mother doing what she could. Right now i'm unployed, i useing a 4 weelerto clean up the yard. The yard so wet i'm thinking of useing grass carp to cut the grass.

A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Make us of the time. Soon enough, the waters will return to normal and the time will be right for a good fishin' trip. In the meantime, it's good that you're helpin' out your folks.
