Thread: Lake Beaverfork

I have never seen any reports of Beaverfork in Conway on crappie.

Nice catch Jason, I was wondering how big your keepers were running? I have caught afew up there about 3/4 way up the lake to the east where a long grass point runs out into the lake from north to south at the end of the point there is a couple of trees in the lake inbetween those trees and the south bank there is a deep channel with brush piles in about 15' of water. Good spot to drift or spider rig. CP

Way to go on Beaverfork Jason...did you make it to brewer?

I bet Brewer is sooooo full of water...especially since they changed it to hold more water a couple years ago. I may have to try Beaverfork again...they were having bass tourneys out there, may want to schedule around those. I was curious about the size of the fish too, most of mine were small. It's always a good trip when you can take Dad...taking fish home is a bonus! Congratulations!

Beaverfork sounds like the TICKET right now.

I used to live in Conway, and Beaverfork is a city owned lake. You have to buy a city pass to fish it, and if I remember correctly if you live in Conway it was like $30 a year, and if you live out of Conway it was $300 a year. This is how they keep the lake crowds to a min. You might want to check this before you start to pull your boats there.

Wow, that sounds a little steep. I'd say there's better places to fish that don't cost nearly as much. $2 launch fee at Conway will do...Thanks for the info.
