Thread: Crappie Fishing / Yo-Yo,s

Guys have there own opinions and I respect that, but this is my opinion about using yo-yo,s to crappie fish. The other day 2 guys were right up in the brush mingling in around the crappie fisherman putting out and running yo-yo,s. Some of the guys had to holler at them to get the crappie off the hook, they were hanging up out of the water.

I was hoping for a warden to show up and hoping for them guys to get around me in my spot with them yo-yo,s---I had a few choice words for them and their fishing tactics.

I think yo-yo,s should be banned for game fishing, plus they take away from the spirit of the sport and to me it is an unfair advantage. I hate flag nets also. These guys know exactly where to place these nets and yo-yo,s and to me it is not fair or good for the sport.

Opinions Please-----Maybe we should take a poll and submit it to the Game & Fish Commission or email them in numbers.
