    Cool Crappie Forecast

What will all of the rain do to the lakes in central Ark as for as lake level and the crappie bite? I'm headed to Lake Greeson Wed. for the CC. I've never been there before and have really been looking forward to it.:D

It will most likely be tough fishing after all of this rain. That's why I'm sitting here at this computer right now instead of out there on the water. But, it should calm down after a few days...at least you don't have to worry about muddy water on Greeson.

The fishing is tough right now. Greeson has come up 4-foot and it's raining again now. Today I was able to fish 10-12' over what is normally super shallow. Tree laydowns off the banks have plenty of water on them. I guess we can thank the spirit of Crappie Camp for that. We have had it in March (it rained); we've had it in April (it rained); we had to cancel last spring's camp because of major flooding; now we scheduled this one in May (it's raining). Oh well, we'll eat good for sure.

That's right tougher fishing in flooded waters, it can be done but you'll really haft to put your thinking cap on now. CP
