    Default Nimrod 4/25

Anybody do any good up there on 4/25? I was up there until I just couldn't stand the wind anymore and caught one keeper.

I went for a little wile Saturday morning caught 15 in about an hour. The best one might have been 10". I fished Sunrise in the cyprus trees. It appeared most boats went out into the lake. I man a small flatbottom paddle powered and wind was to much to venture out. I bet as good as the small ones were bitting some folks had a good trip.

I fished Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. Picked up alot of little ones, but managed to catch 10 decent fish saturday....and a few more on Sunday. We just fished the Cypress trees and buck brush. Maybe had 4-5 good fish all weekend. You definitely had to have a trolling motor in that wind!!!

FISH ARE STILL SCATTERED. CATCHING ENOUGH TO EAT AND LOTS OF SMALL FISH. THE MALES ARE STARTING TO MOVE UP SOME AND A FEW FEMALES STILL OUT IN 10' . THEY SEEM TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE WATER RISING AND FALLING. THE WATER TEMPS ARE IN THE 70'S!

Like NIMROD said the fish are definately scattered. With the temp going up and down and the lake dropping everyday fishing was a little tough. I waded the brush up in the coves off of the river and did fair on 3/4 lb males. The few females that I caught were thin and had eggs running out.
The bigger females were caught by some still out in the main lake on 9 foot deep brushpiles. These fish still were full of eggs.
I just made a post this morning, with pics, on the main forum.
