For what it is worth, years ago I was parked in a slip next to an out of state boat where I thought everything would be relatively safe. One night thieves took everything not nailed down from the out of state boat and nothing from mine. Pretty much everyone docked there left everything out in the open before this. The next night everyone around locked up everything they could in the boats rod boxs except I didnt have a rod box so I hid everything the best I could. Thieves came back the next night and pried open the rod box on the out of state boat but didnt bother anyone elses stuff. I guess even some thieves think enough to reason that the out of state guy wouldnt be around long enough to be able to persue the matter?

CS, sorry to hear about your loss. Last August thieves got my 25hp johnson off my boat in my yard. It has sure changed the way we live. I hope everything works out well for you and I also hope the thieves get whats coming to them.

Cris no news for the police but by the time they start hitting bandits I will have a box full with rods to pull them with. You and Jerry will have to get together and come up for a trip.:D
