    Default Cox Cypress

My dad and I fished Cox Cypress yesterday morning for about 4 hours. It was my first time ever and his first time in probably 15 years. I had one bite that I missed early on and after that we didn't even get a nibble. I think we fished every color jig we had available.

Oh, I also went to check out Hallowel Reservoir and it looks like they've drained it for some reason. Anybody know why?

Hallowel Reservoir is now just for ducks, they tured it into a moist soil units. Ducks like it shallow so they keep it shallow. Also, they have been working on the pipe and water controll structures so they can flood it easier for the ducks.

Well that stinks. AGFC might want to update their web site then.
