Thread: Blue Mtn Report

Hey Fishman, I've never fished Blue Mtn yet but would like to get in on some good wade fishin' this week. Where would be a good place for me to try.
I've driven over there and seen the lake. Probably won't pull the boat.

fished today only 9 water was down a foot from sunday

That don't sound good. Here on Nimrod most of the brush is too shallow when the lake is at the normal level of 345.

There is usually some buckbrush in the water year round over there. If not pulling a boat best bet would be at waveland for wading. Most people I see wading are at Lick Creek or Twin Cove on the South side of the Lake. I know there is a ramp at Lick creek but dont believe there is one at Twin Cove. Ashley and Hice Landing have a creek channel and might be risky to wade?

anybody been is the water back up

I heard it was back up.? I have a Benifit Auction to do this Sat. so wont know till Sunday or Monday. If I get a confirmed report, will post.
